Every time I purchase tickets to a concert, play, or sporting event I'm reminded
 of the absurd fees that Ticketmaster charges.  I find it hard to believe that 
with their longstanding infrastructure that it costs them much more than pennies 
per ticket to administer their sales and yet at times they charge $15 and more 
in service fees per ticket.  It also seems like their fees are consistently 
going up.  

I seriously doubt that their fees would be so high if they had competition.  
Even if the venue has a box office Ticketmaster's sales generally start before 
the venue's does.  Because of this Ticketmaster takes advantage of the fact 
that fans want to get the best seats.
